To send the pre-approval letter from the desktop, click ‘Send Letter’ button in the Pre-approval section in the top bar:



From the following pop-up you can lower the purchase price, include a message to the borrower and choose who to send the letter to:



If the borrower enters their realtor during the application, you will see them as an option under ‘Who are you sending the letter to?’.  You can also add them as a contact to the loan in Blend under the ‘Contacts’ section on the left:



If you need to increase the purchase price, or change any loan information that populates to the letter, you can do so in the application in Blend and click ‘Save Changes’:



Updated loan information pushes over to Encompass only at a few specific points:

 

  1. When credit is ordered
  2. When AUS is run
  3. When the Export button is clicked.  This should only be done when the file is finished being worked on in Blend, as the Export button will cause the loan to be locked down in Blend.  It is a one-time sync
